You are cordially invited to the launching/ dissemination of FRANI (Food Recognition Assistance and Nudging Insights), a new artificial intelligence AI-assisted mobile phone application developed under the Nudging for Good (NFG) initiative. FRANI is a collaboration between the International Food Policy Research Institute, Plant Village at Penn State University, the University of Ghana, the National Institute of Nutrition, Thai Nguyen National Hospital in Vietnam, and the Department of Applied Nutrition, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka.
FRANI tracks diets, recognizes food, gives dietary information, and provides gamified nudges to prompt healthy dietary choices. The launch will give a comprehensive insight into the exciting world of FRANI.
The launching will take place on 3rd December 2024, from 3 – 4.15 PM at Hotel Shangri-La Colombo. The launching is taking as a part of the Delivering for Nutrition (D4N) International Conference this year.
